Inkelle is a handwriting note app for iPad and Apple Pencil.

We built Inkelle to be private by design. Your notes are yours. This policy explains what data Inkelle handles, where it goes, and the choices you have.
Your notes — handwriting (ink), typed text, images, audio recordings, imported PDFs, tags, and notebooks — are stored locally on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, this content syncs through Apple's CloudKit private database in your own private container (iCloud.com.inkelle.notes). This content lives in your personal iCloud account; the developer cannot access, read, or collect it. You can disable iCloud for the app in iOS Settings.
Handwriting recognition (OCR) and search run entirely on your device and are not sent anywhere — except that, if and when you invoke an AI action, the recognized text is sent to DeepSeek as described in Section 3.
Inkelle includes an optional AI study suite (summaries, Q&A, math help, flashcards). These features are powered by DeepSeek, a third-party AI service operated by Hangzhou DeepSeek Artificial Intelligence Co., Ltd. (API endpoint api.deepseek.com).
The AI features are off until you choose to use them. To use them you must (a) enter your own DeepSeek API key, and (b) give explicit in-app consent. Before any text leaves your device, Inkelle shows a consent dialog that names DeepSeek and explains what will be sent.
When you invoke an AI action on a note, the relevant note content — which may include the note title, tags, typed text, and on-device handwriting-OCR text — is transmitted to DeepSeek solely to generate the requested result (e.g. a summary or flashcards). This is used only to provide the feature (App Functionality). It is not used for advertising or tracking, and Inkelle adds no analytics to these requests.
Your DeepSeek API key is stored only in the device Keychain; it is never written to iCloud, UserDefaults, or our servers (we have no servers). We share note content with DeepSeek only to provide the AI features you invoke, and we share data only with third parties that provide the same or a comparable level of data protection as described in this policy. DeepSeek's handling of the data you send is additionally governed by DeepSeek's own privacy policy. You can revoke consent and remove your key at any time in Settings → AI; after that, no note content is sent anywhere.
Inkelle contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not collect usage profiles.
Because your content is stored on your device and in your own iCloud, you control it. Delete a note in the app (it goes to Trash, then is removed), or remove the app and its iCloud data through iOS/iCloud settings. We hold no copy of your content.
Inkelle is a general-audience productivity app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this policy; the effective date above will change accordingly.

你的笔记——手写墨迹、键入文字、图片、录音、导入的 PDF、标签与笔记本——保存在你的设备本地。若你登录了 iCloud，这些内容会通过 Apple 的 CloudKit 私有数据库同步到你自己的私有容器（iCloud.com.inkelle.notes）。这些内容存于你个人的 iCloud 账户，开发者无法访问、读取或收集。你可在 iOS 设置中为本应用关闭 iCloud。
手写文字识别（OCR）与搜索完全在设备端完成，不会发送到任何地方——唯一的例外是：当且仅当你发起 AI 操作时，识别出的文本会按第 3 节所述发送给 DeepSeek。
Inkelle 提供可选的 AI 学习套件（摘要、问答、数学求解、抽认卡），由第三方 AI 服务 DeepSeek（杭州深度求索人工智能基础技术研究有限公司，接口地址 api.deepseek.com）提供支持。
在你主动使用之前，AI 功能处于关闭状态。使用前你必须（a）填入你自己的 DeepSeek API Key，并（b）在应用内明确同意。在任何文本离开你的设备之前，Inkelle 都会弹出一个明确写明 DeepSeek 及发送内容的同意对话框。
当你对某条笔记发起 AI 操作时，相关笔记内容（可能包括标题、标签、键入文字，以及设备端手写 OCR 文本）会被发送给 DeepSeek，仅用于生成你请求的结果（如摘要或抽认卡）。这只用于提供该功能（App 功能），不用于广告或追踪，Inkelle 也不会在这些请求中加入任何分析。
你的 DeepSeek API Key 仅保存在设备钥匙串（Keychain）中，绝不会写入 iCloud、UserDefaults 或我们的服务器（我们没有服务器）。我们仅为实现你主动调用的 AI 功能而将笔记内容共享给 DeepSeek，且只与提供与本政策同等或可比数据保护水平的第三方共享数据。DeepSeek 对你所发送数据的处理，另受 DeepSeek 自身隐私政策约束。你可随时在 设置 → AI 中撤销同意并删除密钥；此后不会再有任何笔记内容被发送。
Inkelle 不含任何分析、广告或追踪 SDK。我们不会跨应用或网站追踪你，也不会收集使用画像。
由于内容存储在你的设备与你自己的 iCloud 中，你完全掌控它。在应用内删除笔记（先进入回收站，随后移除），或通过 iOS/iCloud 设置删除应用及其 iCloud 数据。我们不持有你内容的任何副本。
Inkelle 是面向一般用户的效率类应用，并非面向 13 岁以下儿童。我们不会在知情的情况下收集儿童的个人数据。
我们可能更新本政策，届时上方的生效日期将相应变化。
